FS-Bat

FS-Bat has been created to allow designers to create original buildings without any prior knowledge of complex BGL compilers.
FS-Bat is a french software : "Bat" stands for "batiment", meaning "building" in french.
The buildings can be inserted in scenerys using classical BGL compilers or with AIRPORT, the excellent software of Pascal Meziat.

The building is the basic object managed by FS-Bat. It is made up of points, lines and polygons. Several views can be used to create or see a building.

This polygons can be painted ot textured.

The complex buildings in several parts are possible.
There are some cases where a correct polygon order management will not result in good display in FS5. We must then divide the building into several parts, which will be displayed independently in an exact order according to the plane position in relation to a polygon.

Distribution mode

This software is "freeware" : its use is free of all rights.

Pre-requisites

The use of FS-Bat doesn't require any computer programming knowledge. If you generate buildings that will be used by airport then knowing how a particular BGL compiler works isn't important.
Technically, you must have :
- Windows 3.1 or Windows 95,
- the DLL VBRUN300.DLL (you can find it easily),
- a BGL compiler (BGLCOMP 0.e or SCASM 1.6 or +),
- AIRPORT (v1.23b DOS or v2.02 Win95) is optional, but advised as it is a great and powerful program,
- Flight Simulator 5 or FSFW95 are of course needed !

Version

The actual version is the beta-test 1.0b4 version.
We aren't far from the final 1.0 version.
